U-M MFA in Creative Writing Program

The graduate program in creative writing is a two-year program leading to the Master of Fine Arts degree. Students concentrate in either fiction or poetry. Students selected by the program have demonstrated talent and are exposed to a variety of approaches to the craft of writing. Students choose this program because they intend to prepare for a lifetime of writing and professional publication.

The Project:
Working with the Director and Assistant Director of the program, the MFA website was created with two goals in mind: to inform and advertise. The site would need to be distinctive and yet still function seamlessly within the larger confines of the Department of English website. The finished product features a design controlled entirely by CSS, dynamic database-driven content, events calendars, and an online discussion forum.
