Non-GPS Metric Workout Basic Stats (switch to standard)

How this works.

The following may help you establish the proper time to enter:

GPS Location.
If you like you may change the location to represent where you live. The format for this is very important. You must enter your location in the following format:

My location is: N42.285490 W83.776980

Remove the letters and enter values only.

North and South values are entered into Lat field, East and West values are entered into Lon field.
Western and Southern values are Negative values.

Any other GPS format will NOT WORK PROPERLY. Reversing the values should still work, but will place you in the wrong area.

Hint: You can find a local GPS start point in this format by opening up one of your .mbx files stored on your computer. The format for these will look slightly different ( -83.776980 42.285490), the number on the left is Lon value, the number on the right is the Lat value.

How to get your activity into Motionbased.

1. Enter the appropriate values for your workout above. You can change the zones and GPS location if you like, but are not required to. The default values are my own.

2. Hit submit and you will be taken to a page that generates the proper Motionbased formated xml file. Note: this format is based off a forerunner 301.

3. Copy the text and place into a simple text editior and save your file to your computer with a .mbx extension and file type "all files."

4. Open the MB agent, click on "import activities," browse to the file you saved and submit. After a few moments you'll find your activity waiting in your inbox.
